Every year liposuction is one of the top three cosmetic surgery procedures in the U.S. Also, non-invasive skin tightening procedures using radiofrequency or laser energy has been becoming more popular.
At Bellissimo Clinic, we now combine the two procedures into one, reducing fat and tightening skin at the same time. The procedures are called FaceTite™ and NickTite™

Апаратът BodyTite едновременно изсмуква подкожната мазнина и загрява до 70 градуса по Целзий третираната област. По този начин се стимулира естественото производство на колаген и еластин в кожата. - Superior body contouring — Because the RF energy liquefies the fat that is then instantly suctioned away, contouring is smoother and avoids the lumpy, irregular appearance that can follow liposuction.
- Skin contraction — The heating that melts the fat also causes a “wound” response in the dermis layer of the skin. This causes the skin to contract down and the body produces new amounts of collagen (the skin’s structural support protein) to send to the perceived “wound.” Liposuction without RF energy doesn’t provide skin contraction.
- Controlled directional energy distribution — Because the RF energy transfers from the cannula through the tissue up to the external handpiece, the direction can be precisely controlled. This maximizes the RF energy utilization while ensuring there is little risk of thermal damage to surrounding tissues.
- Decreased downtime — Traditional liposuction involves tissue trauma, as the cannula is moved back and forth under the skin to break up fat pockets. By using RF energy to break down and liquefy fat, the cannula gently extracts the fat. This creates far less bruising, swelling, and downtime.
Both of these procedures are minimally invasive body contouring procedures at Bellissimo Clinic. The procedures are both performed with only local anesthesia to numb the areas where tiny incisions are created for the insertion of the cannula. The cannula itself is very thin, about the size of a knitting needle. The treatment areas are injected with a tumescent solution common to modern liposuction. The solution consists of saline, epinephrine, and Lidocaine. This numbs the area, makes the fat easier to remove, and constricts the blood vessels for less bleeding and subsequent bruising. Then the FaceTite™/NeckTite™ handpiece cannula is inserted.
On the tip of the cannula is an internal electrode that delivers the radiofrequency energy below the skin to liquefy the fat. Above the skin on the surface rests the other portion of the handpiece, a metal wand that serves as the external electrode. This is important because it gives the RF energy a pathway upward through the skin from the internal electrode to the external electrode. This provides skin tightening typically to RF treatments.
While the thin cannula is delivering the RF energy below the skin to liquefy and then suction out unwanted fat, the RF energy is also pulsing upward through the skin. This is the dual benefit of both FaceTite™ and NeckTite™, and our Bellissimo Clinic patients love it.
FaceTite and NeckTite procedures are performed in the office. We believe it is important to follow the highest standards of safety and sterility and to provide you with the utmost comfort and privacy during your visits.
This depends on the areas being treated, but most of these treatments take about one hour.
Only one treatment is necessary for each area being treated.
After a NeckTite™ treatment, we’ll have you wear a compression turtleneck. This helps the skin adapt to the slimmer contour with the fat removed. Obviously, this can’t be done on the face. With both procedures, most patients can usually return to work in a couple of days. There can be some slight bruising and swelling that can linger for a couple of weeks. Pain is minimal but can be managed with ibuprofen.
FaceTite™ and Necktie are performed under local anesthesia. This means lower risk, lower cost, and faster recovery.
There are numerous skin tightening procedures that employ radiofrequency energy to trigger the collagen production that tightens the skin. Those procedures deliver the RF energy down through the epidermis into the skin’s second layer, the dermis. Because the RF energy has to penetrate the epidermis, the energy has to be lower to not overheat the outer skin. That is not the case with FaceTite™ and NeckTite™ because the electrode tip on the cannula delivers the RF energy directly into the dermis layer. This makes these procedures even safer than typical RF skin tightening, which is already very low risk.
Because tiny incisions (usually only about 3mm) need to be made to insert the cannula portion of the FaceTite™/NeckTite™ handpiece, this is considered to be a minimally invasive procedure. The combination of non-invasive RF skin tightening and RF-assisted liposuction is considered to be a hybrid procedure
You will likely have some bruising and minor swelling after the treatments. There is a tiny risk of infection, but this is very rare because of the very small incision size. The tumescent solution minimizes bleeding and keeps patients very comfortable. We will discuss the risks with you, but they are truly minimal.
