Plasmotherapy 

In aesthetic medicine, plasma therapy is used preventively in people under the age of 30 to prevent the breakdown of collagen, while at the age of 40 it is used to slow down the aging process. It can be used to prevent and treat skin aging, facial wrinkles, sagging skin, fight cellulite, as well as to treat other aesthetic problems such as scars (scars from surgery or acne), alopecia and hair loss. 

Unlike heterologous mesotherapy, which uses intradermal implants such as hyaluronic acid, amino acids, vitamins, antioxidants, the revolutionary method of autologous mesotherapy uses the patient’s own plasma to release growth factors. 

At the age of 50 and up, it is used as a therapy for the reversibility of the breakdown of collagen and to strengthen the skin with new collagen. 

 What is collagen?  

Collagen is a protein of the skin that is contained in the intercellular space of the skin, tendons, cartilage and other tissues of the body. It is produced by fibroblasts and is responsible for the elasticity and strength of tissues. Weather along with external factors such as smoking, stress and solar radiation (mainly uvb) are responsible for the breakdown of collagen. When the collagen of the skin breaks down, the firmness of the skin is lost and it relaxes. 

Mesteropia is a method of activating collagen with growth factors produced exclusively by platelets of the same organism = PRP, Platelet Rich Plasma autologous therapy. 

This is a technique of completely natural stimulation of the cells (fibroblasts) of the same organism. The results appear gradually and have a long duration. 

In order to obtain quality PRP, we need approved platelet centrifugation and concentration machines. The doctor will decide how much PRP will be needed for the intervention to be performed. The blood is taken from the patient. It is then centrifuged. Appropriate serum plasma is used as an injectable material on the face, neck, décolleté, back of the hands by the method of mesotherapy. There is slight redness and irritation in the areas of application, which can last up to 24 hours. 

The therapy can be repeated after one month, 2-3 times in all seasons of the year. 

Platelet-enriched autologous injection mesotherapy is suitable for all ages. Plasma therapy can be combined with traditional hydrating mesotherapy and skin nourishment.
