Non-invasive blepharoplasty using the PLEXR method

With age, the skin of the eyelids relaxes and droops. The eyes look half closed or with bags, and the expression is tired or with signs of aging. Despite the problem, many people are afraid of blepharoplasty due to fear of the intervention or the outcome. Non-invasive blepharoplasty, as is evident in its name, does not use a scalpel or laser to remove excess skin, nor uses sutures, thus avoiding all the risks and complications of surgery. It can be applied to anyone who has a problem, regardless of age. There is no incision. It is achieved by removing keratinocytes by sublimation without affecting the base membrane, without causing bleeding, and most importantly, without causing necrosis of surrounding and underlying tissues. The PLEXR method avoids the hazards and difficulties of laser treatment. The device uses a small electric arc, similar to lightning, to selectively raise the temperature in a certain area by evaporating the skin tissues without affecting the deeper layers.

The procedure is applied to the folds of eyelids and to periocular wrinkles, depending on the needs and the problem. After completion of treatment, the patient can see the result immediately. Each session lasts for 30 minutes, and marks, which are smaller than one millimeter, will disappear after 3 to 7 days at the longest. Until the marks disappear, they can be covered with ordinary makeup. After treatment, the patient may return to work and activities on the same day, and even after treatment, it is not necessary to take any special medications or to observe special and rigorous precautions.
