Vampire Facelift – PRP

Vampire face lift is nothing new in cosmetic medicine.

In plastic and cosmetic surgery, Vampire Face Lift is used preventively in people under the age of 30 to prevent collagen degradation, whereas at 40 years of age it is used to slow down the aging process. It can be used to prevent and treat skin aging, facial wrinkles, for skin tightening, combating cellulite, and for other aesthetic problems such as scars (signs of surgery or acne), alopecia and hair loss.

Unlike heterologous mesotherapy, which uses intradermal implants such as hyaluronic acid, amino acids, vitamins, antioxidants, the revolutionary method of autologous mesotherapy uses the patient's own plasma to release growth factors.

At 50 years of age and up, it is used as a therapy for the reversibility of collagen degradation and for strengthening the skin with new collagen.

What is collagen?

Collagen is the skin protein contained in the intracellular space of the skin, tendons, cartilage and other body tissues. It is produced by fibroblasts and responsible for the elasticity and strength of tissues. Time, together with external factors such as smoking, stress and solar radiation (mainly uvb) are responsible for the collagen destruction. When skin collagen starts degrading, the stiffness of the skin is lost and it relaxes.

Vampire Face Lift is a method of activating collagen with growth factors produced exclusively by platelets of the same organism = PRP, Platelet Rich Plasma autologous therapy.

It is a technique of fully natural stimulation of the cells (fibroblasts) of the same organism. The results are gradual and have a long duration.

In order to get quality PRPs, we need approved machines for centrifugation and platelet concentration. The doctor will decide how much PRP will be needed for the intervention to be performed. The blood is taken by the patient. It is then centrifuged. Appropriate serum plasma is used as an injectable material on the face, neck, neckline, back surface of the hands using the mesotherapy method. There is slight redness and irritation in the application areas, which may last up to 24 hours.

Therapy can be repeated after one month, 2-3 times during all seasons of the year.

Autologous injection mesotherapy with platelet-enriched plasma is appropriate for all ages. Plasma therapy can be combined with traditional hydrating mesotherapy and skin nourishment.

It is also applied on the scalp to improve hair growth in combination with the active factors of hair follicle growth - mesotherapy of the scalp.
